This article examines the generational shift between Millennials and Generation Z. This paper is a qualitative case study of a young woman on the crossover point between youngest millennial and oldest Gen Z – though there is debate as to the exact cross over point which is discussed in the article. Through discourse analysis this paper endeavours to explore their perceptions of technology, the need for technology in higher education and the shape they believe this should take.
