This article focuses on the Neuroqueering of a Response Day on the sociology of religion. The authors outline the steps taken to disrupt the traditional academic spaces to promote new ways of being and doing. Through the use of Neuroqueer and Crip theories on space, time and interaction, the authors created a community of knowledge. Bringing experience from voices often left in the margins, the authors discuss the difficulties and successes of uplifting underheard stories, ways of being and ways of doing and understanding religion.
